Editorial / Article excerpt

Before the rewrite, name the decision.

A website rewrite becomes easier to direct when it starts with one decision the buyer needs to make.

“Explain the product better” is a reasonable ambition. It is a difficult brief. It leaves the writer to guess who is reading, what they already understand and what uncertainty prevents them from moving forward.

A more useful starting question is specific: can a ten-person support team decide whether this helpdesk fits the way it works? That question gives the page a reader, a situation and a job.

Press-note draft / Extract

A focused visibility pilot for B2B businesses.

Signal & Syllable, an independent marketing and media studio, offers Recallant: a scoped review that helps a business examine one buyer question and decide what to improve first.

The defined pilot covers one domain and up to ten public pages. Its deliverables are up to five prioritised findings, one priority-page draft of up to 1,000 words, an enquiry recommendation and one consolidated revision.

The studio publishes an original saved-answer research specimen and an offer one-pager so prospective buyers can inspect the method and boundaries before enquiring.
